出發前的最後流水帳
出國前能把自己搞的這麼疲於奔命，應該也算一種特異功能。
2008年9月11日下午，即將出發前往的第一個任務。南蘇丹。
先到香港三天，巴黎十天，然後經由肯亞到南蘇丹首府。
（不要說巴黎十天很讚什麼的，我打你唷～～～～！！！！）
剛剛才到家，是9月11日的凌晨0點28分。從台北開回家。
結束今天晚上跟Raymond和Kathrine的晚餐，急急忙忙的衝到眼鏡店。
結果人家店門都關了，正好要離開。
經過苦苦哀求，他們為了我重回店裡，磨我中午打電話來order的鏡片。
在非洲不必透過刮花的鏡片看世界了…….。
三位具有台灣血統的MSF doctor聚在台北，應該是頭一遭吧。
晚餐吃的是齊民火鍋店，我確定他們的牛肉肉源跟市民大道涮涮鍋是同一個肉商。
他們的櫻花蝦野菇蒸飯很好吃。
Raymond和Kathrine要在出任務的時候遇見應該不容易，
因為同一時間很難有兩個外科醫生同時出一個任務。
但我要分別遇見他們機會就大多了，麻醉和外科總是並存的。
傍晚去前茂拿了4隻Laryngeal Mask（麻醉器材，LMA）。
之前去辦了今天最重要的一件事，這個就不方便公開說。
在此要感謝最近一直為了這些事情奔走的Miss Au，真的謝謝妳的幫忙。
中午去醫院跟老大說bye bye，老大還在房間裡面大聲囑咐，LMA不可以高壓消毒！！
謝謝Ann的禮物！
早上跑去健身房洗澡，其實就算不運動，常常在健身房洗澡也是很划算的。
時間回到昨天凌晨，9月10日是林姓名模的生日。
一定要在這裡再 跟她說，”林修架！！！生日快樂啦！！！“
昨天送她回到家，把登機箱還給她的時候已經是凌晨好幾點了…..。
其實很多年沒有在林修嫁生日的時候見到她了。。。。。
還有昨天見面的朋友們…..
楊兄你要好好照顧我的Natura Black f1.9.
時間倒序至此，不再往前回憶。
總之從星期六晚上回到台灣，星期天在台中呆一天，
星期一透早到台北辦申根簽證，星期二領簽證，星期三都寫在上面，
現在已經是星期四。要出發的日子。
Kathrine問我的心情，我說我不緊張也不害怕，情緒很平。
其實是因為東奔西跑，累到沒有心情去緊張和害怕。
她說等到我在非洲落地，就會開始有感覺了，應該想是吧。
決定今天晚上不打包行李，先睡覺，明天再說。反正是下午的飛機。
總之，要出發了。
比起去年，這次出去的時間實在不長。
很快就會回來了。
請大家多多保重。
我一直到離開巴黎之前，應該還可以上網的。
我想下次出國之前應該要躲起來。。。。。。。。。。
兩次出國前都這麼累，快轟了！！！！（台普=快瘋了）

哇~~~~巴黎十天真的很讚ㄟ(難道現在要飛回來打人…), 乾脆就留在巴黎不要去什麼南蘇丹了啦, 聽起來霧煞煞, 那是在哪裡啊??醬子要待上一整年嗎??

hey, have u arrived paris office? r u going to take a perpartory course in paris? otherwise it’s so strange to keep u there for 10 days. u can use LMA in ur mission hospital which means it has an anaes. machine, sounds not bad. we just received 3 reusable LMAs which can be sterilizd under high temp x 40 times from paris, perhaps u can make order once arrived south sudan.

In fact, according the latest schedule (Electronic ticket), I just stay in Paris for 3 days. I bring 4 different size single use LMA with me. But I will ask for multiple use ones, anyway…I am boarding now, leave msg to you in Paris.

I’ve just been to the Paris office.
I have to say, Paris is not a bad place though I have prejudice against Paris. But…it recall my memories in Spain and Greece.It’s Europe anyway….

ha, u need not worry about how to spend 10 days in paris right now. surely u r an expert in anaes, just one advise given by our med. co who is a senior anaestheist. try not to use ketamine which makes patients flask back many many damn memories, war, rape, violence……..(not only simple nightmare for patients living in developed countries) patients get physically well after OT but the shit flash back fightens them long long time afterwards. they are reluctant to receive further OT even necessary for this bad experience.
r u going to travel around africa just after mission?

I am in MSF france library now, and I just wrote a reply for you this morning but maybe the internet connection has some problem there so that I couldn’t post the reply.
The briefing schedule here is not so tight, I think I have some time to stroll over the Paris. But I also think that I have to do some “homework” about the documents reading or something.
As the Ketamine, it’s the golden rule of MSF. But as my experience, the patient never really fall asleep when I use ketamine alone. Though in the text book, it’s the only drug with three essential property of Anesthesia: amnesia, alangesia, sedation. I always use ketamine with other tranqulizer as dormicum, pentothol, propofol something….
Anyway, the future experience in the field will give me advice.How are you recently? It seems that you can approach to internet everyday. Is it good in Iran?

yes, i can approach interent everyday but no more facebook since this evening even using the software u gave me. i got my mobile(not mind at all) after arrived my field hospital, u r still in paris, be patient, long way lei. i only stayed in tehran 1 night then head to mehran where is a remote city, nothing can be seen except hot and dust. dun know if i like here but iranian food is tasty. this morning just heard about our project MAYBE close in two months(someone told me b4 in paris), perhaps i am already on holiday but u r still in south sudan and u dun have chance to swim in the pool in tehran house, haha! my original plan(only thinking) is going to east turkey, syria and lebanon after mission but my classmate tells me that no ground visa of syria and lebanon for HKSAR passport holder. now i am DYING and GASPING. need to think think my new travel plan. i had prejudice to france and french b4 also. but it’s definitely a casual and comfortable city, u will like here for sure. spanish ladies r sexy, italian ladies r beautifu but french ladies r always smart, not big as u said. not advise u visit羅浮宮 for ur tight schedule, i got headache and nausea(?real vomit) after 2-hr wandering(only a small corner of this damn big museum)in my first trip to paris. it’s good to visit museo d’orsey, 龐畢度, 蒙馬特聖心教堂.

Yayayaya….Paris is a really casual place, that I have to confess this point. But until now, I have time to walk around. Today we finish our briefing at 4pm, VERY EARLY. Yesterday it lasted until 7pm…..
我的腳架接頭掉在香港啦!我要去買一個新的,大陸仿的才32RMB,原版的這邊一個要40歐吧!殺人唷!!貴!!而且到現在我的Per Diem都還沒拿到…ooxx…身上剩下50歐元現金,保佑我可以撐到明天不必去領錢.
你還想旅行阿? 我想等我作多幾個mission之後再來旅行吧,我在巴黎一點來到法國的興奮感都沒有,可能短期內不再適合做單純旅行這件事情…等到在有熱情在說..
Anyway., take care in Iran. Try Kale Pache (羊頭羊蹄) , 很好吃的!!

want more missions? 我看你是太久沒給人插喉下過麻藥技癢了. 看見陌生人就不自覺在想用幾號LMA/ET tube? 盤算給多少Fantanyl? 看到脖子短的人就心裡嘀咕 “不好插喉啊”.
情況有如我已經四年沒幫病人抽血, 現在每次看到粗血管就好想拿一根針筒刺下去. 或是想替腫得不得了的病人打點滴. 刺第一下, 沒有血, 再試……0_0||| 還是沒有血. 左摸右摸, 最後好不容易在ankle附近找到一條蚊型血管, 上止血帶, 拍拍拍拍, 抹alcohol swab, 刺下去 ……ˇ ……ˇ血液慢慢慢慢出現在angiocath裡, 把針拔出來, 駁上IV drip, 看到air chamber裡的水滴很順, 立刻回頭觀察drip site, 沒有腫起來啊, 感覺……超爽, 好懷念呀!
劉同學, 除了上次你給我那個ultra surf 9.1以外, 還有其他類似的東西可以解決伊朗上網的問題嗎? Mamnoon x 10000 times.
P.S. must try crème burlee prior to ur departure which makes u love France till die. enjoy ur mission in south sudan.

反正我就要去啦,麻醉一個任務可以短到只有一個月, 當然我可以說多幾個mission囉,你依次六個月阿, 我替你唸阿彌陀佛啦!!好好享受你的Chador,若需要Burka,下次我帶給你啦!!!
ABC踢我下山,可以阿, 可是我去走EBC, ABC沒去過,不要說沒去過,連A的魚尾峰頂我都沒瞧見,慘吧,慘西西阿…
Creme Burlee哪裡吃我也不知道. 我剛拿到per diem. 但我已經困在圖書館兩小時了, 快瘋了….我想趕快把這些雜事弄完去巴黎走走阿!!
