Mi Gran Viaje

The first day in Congo, Kinshasa.

okay….The keyboard and the computer doens’t have Chinese input. So…..Donc…

The frist day is always briefing x 4,5,6….100.
But this time is different from before.
Although this is my 3rd mission, but it’s my first French speaking mission. So………..

!!0_0!! + !!@_@!!

……….Vout…vout……pe.au parler…..anglie…….s.v.p….
This is the only sentance I spoke most all the day.

I will, no, I have to learn in the future 2 months. There is no alternative option for me.
This is more challenging than the work (anesthesia) for me.

Now it’s going to the end of the day. I am going to have dinner with CoTL (anyway, somebody!).   Kinshasa is a Dxmn expensive city because this is a NGO city. Hamburger can cost you 5 - 20 USD. I just had a very basic one at the noon time. It cost me 5 USD. and it’s even much worse than the McDanold one, except the cook gave me lots of ketchup.

Anyway, so far so good, please don’t worry.

I don’t know if I can access to this website in the field. So…..we will see.
